World Environment Day Observed

Web DESK: World Environment Day (WED) occurs on the 5th of June every year, and is the United Nation’s principal vehicle for encouraging awareness and action for the protection of our environment. First held in 1974, it has been a flagship campaign for raising awareness on emerging environmental issues from marine pollution, human overpopulation, and global warming, to sustainable consumption and wildlife crime. According to the environmental experts due to greenhouse gases, the environment of the world is changing rapidly and agriculture sector is also being affected. Production of wheat, rice, Sunflower and corn has rapidly decreased in the world due to environmental changes, and south asia has been affected more in this regards.The temperature in Pakistan is increasing day by day due to the cutting of the forest, experts have shown the concern that the situation can be more worse, if we do not stop cutting the forests.
