World T20 Warm up: Pakistan sets 158 runs target against Sri Lanka

KOLKATA: Pakistan has set a target of 158 runs against Sri Lanka in World T20 qualifiers round, while Mohammed Hafeez remained prominent scoring 73 runs, while Captain Shahid Afridi once again lost wicket on zero run.

Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first against Sri Lanka in warm-up match. Pakistani openers Sharjeel Khan and Ahmed Shahzad supported the team with 39 runs, after which Sharjeel Khan was out on 23 and Ahmed Shahzad on 18 runs. Mohammed Hafeez scored 70 runs out of 49 balls not out, which included nine fours and one six, while Umar Akmal scored 19, Sarfaraz 13, while Shahid Afridi could not score any run. Pakistan scored 157 runs in set 20 over and set target of 158 for Sri Lanka to win. Sri Lankan bowler Thisar Apera got 2 wickets. All players can bowl and bat, hence only 11 players will field.
