Worst Rights Violations Going on In IoK: COAS

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa in a statement on the occasion of Kashmir Exploitation Day, said that serious human rights violations were being committed in occupied Kashmir.

According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa had said that the worst state repression and inhumane military siege was going on in occupied Kashmir and the population was being forcibly changed. Violations of the law have created a security crisis in Occupied Kashmir and the deteriorating situation in the region has put regional security at stake.

The Army Chief further said that the resolution of the Kashmir dispute should be in accordance with the UN resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiris and a solution to the dispute is essential for lasting peace and stability in the region.
