Islamabad: (July 22, 2017) Doctors have decided to keep Chairman, Securities and Exchange Commission (SECP) Zafar Hijazi, under observation in PIMS hospital for another 24 hours.
According to Vice Chancellor PIMS, Hijazi’s condition was not good. Doctors have advised him to remain in the hospital for 24 hours.
Following his arrest on Friday after his bail before arrest application was rejected, Hijazi fell ill and hours later he was shifted to PIMS for treatment.
Since then he is admitted there and is being treated. Doctors said that as Zafar had undergone kidney transplant operation in the past, he was suffering from kidney problem.
Zafar Hijazi was arrested by FIA on Friday in the case of tampering government documents in favour of Sharif family after an special court rejected his BBA plea.
