Web Desk (January 12, 2018): The protests and condemnation against the vicious murder of seven-year old innocent girl Zainab, who was kidnapped, raped and killed in Kasur few days ago, being continued across the country and angry protesters including civil society and political leadership demanded the exemplary punishment for the culprits.
Karachi: Pakistan Sirzameen Party (PSP) staged protest before the Do Talwar, Clifton and demanded the immediate arrest of the culprits behind the Zainab’s murder.
The protesters expressing strong diatribe on government’s conduct over the incident and termed it regretful and had the view that the parents themselves protect their children by train them how to face such kind of incidents as government attitude showed that it was not serious to draft any strategy in this connection.

The members of civil society and social organization Fixit also held protest rallies separately.
Civil society members including prominent actors gathered outside the Sindh assembly building and demanded the justice for Zainab. Initially they were not allowed to meet speaker provincial assembly, however later they were allow to meet him after the intervention of members assembly.
Talking to media actors have the view that children would be apprised and trained to face such kind of situations.
The members of Fixit gathered at Shahra-e-Faisal and protested against the killing Zainab and demanded justice for her.

Lahore: The people staged demonstration outside the Lahore Press Club against the dreadful Kasur incident and condemned the police negligence in this regard.
“If police would have taken immediate action the incident had avoided,” the protesters said and demanded the government role in provision of justice to Zainab.
They also demanded the inclusion of clause of sexual assault in national action plan.
Peshawar: The members of national youth assembly staged protest outside the Peshawar press club and chanted slogans against the Punjab government.
They were carried banners and placards inscribed with slogans against government and demands justice for Zainab. Demonstrators demanded the immediate arrest of the culprits and their execution publically.
They also demanded inclusion of sexual assault awareness subjects in curriculum to halt such kind of vicious incidents.
Rawalpindi: The workers related from various political and religious parties have staged protests outside the mosques in various parts of the city after the Juma prayer and demanded the arrest and hanging of culprits publically.
The workers Tehreek Laibaik Ya Rasoolalah (TLY), student wing of PPP and Islami Jamiat Talba (IJT) have demanded the provision of justice to the victim’s family.
The criticizing Punjab government said that it was not taking the issue seriously and yet to take concrete steps for the arrest of culprits.
