ISLAMABAD: US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad has thanked Pakistan for recent efforts to support the Afghan peace process.
The US special envoy has left Pakistan for Afghanistan today after the completion of his visit.
In a tweet, he said Pakistan has reaffirmed the understanding that ultimately Afghans, and Afghans alone, will determine their future.

The US Special Representative said more work needs to be done to attain peace in Afghanistan.
Zalmay Khalilzad said he has just wrapped up his two days visit to Islamabad and is now moving back to Kabul.
