PSL 3: Peshawar Zalmi Set 181 Runs Against Kings

Sharjah (March 15, 2018): Kamran Akmal’s blistering 75 (51) led Peshawar Zalmi to set a healthy total against Karachi Kings in 27th fixture of the third edition of Pakistan Super League at Sharjah Cricket Stadium here on Thursday.

Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi have won the toss and elected to bat first against Karachi kings.

Peshawar, with only three wins in their eight games so far, is dangerously close to elimination: they need to win both of their remaining two games in order to progress to the playoffs.

If Karachi beat Peshawar today, then the line-up for the playoffs and eliminators will be completed: Islamabad United, Quetta Gladiators, Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings will be through.

But if Peshawar wins today, then Karachi and Multan will have to wait until Peshawar’s next match against Lahore on Friday.
