RAWALPINDI: Maj General Asim Bajwa Director General Inter Services Public Relation says that Operation Zarb e Azb is no more a military operation but it is a National operation agenda.
Major General Asim Bajwa said that military leadership appreciate the decision of political leadership about the establishment of Military courts and said that it was a good step in the national interests.
He said that operation Zarb e Azb is no more a military operation but also now all the nation can understand the gravity of the situation and operation Zarb e Azb is now a national agenda.
DG ISPR in his interview to a foreign news agency said that the decision of forming military courts was taken by the political parties in the interest of the country
He briefed that after the attack on school military has spread the operational wing of its intelligence network around the country and due to strong network more than 4000 people who were directly or indirectly related to outlawed militants were arrested.
“It is the effectiveness of the operation that the leaders of terrorist organization have fled to Afghanistan”, he added.
He stressed that Zarb e Azb will continue until the complete eradication of terrorism form the country and there is no deadline for complication of Zarb e Azb.
“The Peshawar attack was a reaction by the terrorists”, Bajwa said.
DG ISPR added that Zarb-e-Azb will complete with the end of terrorism in the country.
