ISLAMABAD: Former President Asif Ali Zardari, his sister Faryal Talpur and 24 other accused in the fake bank account have appeared before Accountability Court Islamabad.
Accountability judge Muhammad Bashir is hearing the case with prominent PPP members barred to penetrate beyond Judicial complex.
On the other side former president Asif Ali Zardari has asked time for submitting a response in the fake account cases.
Sources said that Asif Zardari counsel Farooq Nayik has written a letter to the NAB requesting time for submitting a reply in the fake account case.
The letter requested that the response in fake accounts case could be not submitted due to a busy schedule so granted 15 days time for submitting reply.
It is pertinent to mention here that the JIT had ordered Asif Zardari to submit the response in 10 days time.
PPP co-chairman also barred party workers to reach court on occasion of hearing adding that he believed in pursuing a case with cool temperament adding that “efforts are being made to embrangle us but we will prove innocents from the courts.”
