Zardari Pursuing Unknown Agenda: Saad Rafique

Islamabad (November 07, 2017): Federal Minister for Railways and senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Khwaja Saad Rafique on Tuesday accused Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari of pursing an unknown agenda.

Talking to media at Judicial Complex, he said that PPP was unable to give plausible reasons for its backtracking on support to delimitation bill.

He added that without fulfilling the requirements of population census how election would be held. He added that he did not want to target anyone personally, but the PPP was in grip of Zardari.

He accused Asif Zardari of restraining PPP from participating in legislation process to pass the delimitation bill.Rafique said that the opposition of delimitation bill by a serious political party like PPP could harm democracy.

He added that democracy was not allowed to nurture and strengthen in the country.

Minister for Privatization Danyal Aziz said that the whole records of corruption cases against Zardari gone missing from NAB. He added that in corruption case against former PM Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, only four witnesses were  produced by NAB in the last four years.He added that Nawaz Sharif was signaled out and was being targeted.

State Minister for Information Maryam Aurangzaib said that Sharif family appeared before Supreme Court despite the impression given that they were avoiding courts.

He added that Sharif family was appearing before the accountability court despite serious reservations jut for upholding rule of law.Federal Minister for Climate Change Mushahidullah Khan has said that Nawaz was disqualified by the Supreme court not for corruption for Iqama (resident permit).

The minister said that even those who had looted banks were also leveling allegations against Nawaz Sharif.
