RAWALPINDI: Former president Asif Ali Zardari will appear before National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi on Thursday (today) in the Park Lane Company case.
The Former President’s statement will be recorded in two inquiries pertaining to the suspicious transactions of Rs8 billion.
According to the NAB sources, the Park Lane Company granted the water supply contract while it did not carry out any work for water supply while the company accounts used to expend money on Naudero House of Asif Ali Zardari in Larkana.
On the other hand, Former President Asif Ali Zardari has announced that he aims to kick-off a movement against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government soon after month of Ramazan.
Talking to media in the federal capital, Asif Zardari expressed his thoughts on the current government and the wave of accountability that has gripped the country.
“Bilawal is the son of mine and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, he is destined to walk on ember”, he said.
Reiterating his harsh stance on National Accountability Bureau, he affirmed that NAB and economy can’t run hand in hand.
