ISLAMABAD: Former President Asif Zardari has decided to exchange thoughts with other prominent members of opposition regarding ban on using the term “selected” with Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Talking to media outside Parliament House, Asif Zardari said that he will review their authority of barring of the word’s usage.
National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri on Sunday had directed MNAs to refrain from using the term.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Sherry Rehman also questioned the imposition of ban on using the term “selected” with Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Reacting to the ban, she said that why should anyone be barred from using the terminology if the Premier is not selected, but elected.
