ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Sayed Zulfi Bukhari and Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Haider Zaidi and have urged former Finance Minister Asad Umar to reconsider his decision of joining federal cabinet at any ministry.
Zulfiqar Bukhari tweeted that Asad Umar should continue to be cabinet’s part since the country is at ‘crossroads’.
“Asad Bhai I sincerely hope for #PTI & #Pakistan that you reconsider your decision & continue to be a part of the Cabinet. Pakistan is at crossroads & the Cabinet needs your presence as an integral part of it”, the Special Assistant to the Premier wrote.

Zulfiqar’s request to Asad Umar was followed by Ali Zaidi who yearned him to become federal cabinet’s member as soon as possible.
The Maritime Affairs Minister, in a Twitter message, called Asad Umar a competent person, adding that he has ‘unquestionable integrity’.
“All said and done @Asad_Umar is one of the most competent people around with unquestionable integrity. Extremely important for all of us that he reconsiders his decision & becomes part of the cabinet in any capacity but as soon as possible”, Ali Zaidi tweeted.
