QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan (CM) Jam Kamal Khan has said that it is possible to eradicate poverty by establishing peace and bolstering economic activities in the region.
Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan expressed his views as Afghan ambassador Shkarullah Atif Mishal met him while they discussed matters of mutual interest including Pakistan Afghanistan economic relations.
The CM Balochistan said that the region has potential to fulfill energy needs while the tapi gas line project is in the best interest of the neighboring countries.
Jam Kamal Khan said we should keep hope peace situation in the region will be improved adding that if relations between the USA and North Korea can be improved then relations of this region countries can also be improved.
He said that people interests can only be protected through national and economic interests while the countries of the region should take full benefit from opportunities for development of their people.
Talking on the occasion, Afghan ambassador Shkarullah Atif Mishal completely agreed to the CM Baluchistan point of view and added that both the countries are affected by terrorism.
Afghan ambassador Shkarullah Atif Mishal also said that Pakistan is playing a vital role in the fight against terrorism.
