Islamabad: Circular debt of energy sector has climbed to a whopping amount of Rs 2300 billion.
The payable amount to International Power Producers (IPPs) also reached huge amount of Rs 1800 billion.They also demanded early release of due amount and improvement in the fuel supply.
In case delay of due amount late payment charges can be imposed.
The government will release a sum of Rs 140 billions in the current week.
