JHELUM: Police has arrested Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza and sealed his Academy
According to detail, Jhelum police have detained the renowned religious scholar and engineer, Muhammad Ali Mirza, under Section 3 of the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) legislation. Following his arrest, authorities also ordered the closure and sealing of Mirza’s educational institution.

Sources confirm that the deputy commissioner of Jhelum issued the directives for Mirza’s detention, which was executed by local law enforcement officials. The move is part of administrative efforts to uphold public safety, utilizing the powers granted under the MPO law, which permits detention to prevent disturbances.

In addition to arresting Mirza, officials sealed his academy to curb any potential congregation or activity that could threaten public order.
