Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that a new local government system will play a vital role in resolving the people issue at grass root level adding that people will be made full of powers by transferring powers to the grass root level in the real meanings.
Provincial Minister Mian Mahmood Ul Rasheed called on the CM Punjab wherein matters of mutual interest, political and vital affairs and performance of his ministry were discussed.
Sardar Usman Buzdar, at the occasion said that the Punjab cabinet has approved a draft of Punjab local government act 2021 with consensus.
He said that an era of new development will start through the new local body system adding that people issues will be resolved at their doorstep.
The CM said that opposition parties wanted protection of their private interests adding that the PDM is an natural alliance of rejected and disappointed elements.
He said that the opposition parties have entirely neglected the national interests.
