Lahore: Pakistan team skipper Baber Azam on Monday said that all the players focus is on T-20 World Cup.
Holding a pre-T-20 World Cup presser in Lahore, Baber Azam said that consultations were conducted from every selector for selection of the team instead of personal choice.
The Captain said that there are seven selectors and everyone gave their input in the selection of the team adding the best players were selected.
He said that bringing the trophy was target in the past but unfortunately we could not win.
The team will leave for tour of Ireland and England and World Cup on Tuesday. He said that our whole concentration is on the World Cup adding that all the players are determined to bring the trophy to the country.
He said that we do what’s better for the team adding that every team conduct planning for every mega event.
Baber Azam said that we will plan against India for a vital match after seeing the pitch of New York.
He said that Virat Kohli is the best batter of the world.
He said that Garry Kristion is very much experienced and he is talking interest in team matters before joining the team.
Baber said that we have not hopeful of early recovery of Harris Rauf and now he is fully fit and in rhythem and we expect extraordinary performance from him.
He apprised that Saim, Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman are in top order. He said that the team is balanced with respect of fast and spin bowling.
He said that we will play every match keeping in mind the pitch conditions.
