Karachi: Former Chief of Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) Sharif Uddin Memon on Sunday announced to join ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in a presser along with the PTI leaders.
The PTI leaders included Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi, MNA, Aftab Siddique, MPA Khurram Sher Zaman, Shahzad Qureshi, Sameer Meer Shaikh , Mahmood Moulvi and others.
Ex- CPLC chief addressing the presser said that he had to join the PTI earlier. He said that PTI is the party which raises voice against corruption. Talking at this occasion, Minister Ali Zaidi said that the impression is not right that PTI did nothing for Karachi.
He said that the federal government is doing tasks which have to be done by the provincial government. Ali Zaidi said that until September buses for the green line projects will arrive.
The Minister said that K-4 project will be constructed by the federal government while cleaning of rain drains, removal of encroachment and other work is also done by the federal government.
