ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has been shifted to Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad from Adiala Jail.
According to police sources, the senior leader of PML-N was moved to a private hospital located in Sector H-8 where he is expected to undergo surgery.
On Saturday, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was shifted to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for medical check-up after his health condition deteriorated.
It is pertinent to mention that former PM Abbasi is in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB)’s custody in connection with an inquiry into the LNG scandal.
