LAHORE: Former prime minister and senior leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Yousaf Raza Gillani, has been barred from leaving the country as Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officials stopped him at airport.
Former PM Gillani was departing to Seoul – South Korea but stopped by FIA officials at Lahore airport via private airline’s flight number TJ-364. Former speaker National Assembly Faisal Karim Kundi and other leaders were also accompanying Gillani. The former premier was scheduled to attend an international conference organised by Universal Peace Federation on February 10.
