Ex-PTI MNA from Chakwal quits party over its confrontational politics with state institutions

Chakwal: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) important leader from Chakwal Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Dullah says good-bye to the party over the party’s continued policy of confrontation with the state institutions.

Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Dullah was elected as MNA from Chakwal on the PTI ticket back in 2018 general elections.

He said that unfortunately there had been no change in the PTI’s stance towards the state institutions, and it was still pursuing the policy of confrontation with them.

“For a long time after the May 9 incidents of violence we kept waiting for the PTI to change its policy towards the establishment,” he said, adding, “Unfortunately that did not happen.”

Sardar Zulfiqar made it clear that he always believed in public service, and that he was dissociating himself from the party after consultations with his friends and supporters.

He remained the PTI MNA from Chakwal from 2018 to 2023.

Saying bid adieu to PTI, Sardar Zulfiqar has joined hundreds of PTI leaders from different parts of the country who have left the party in the wake of May 9 mayhem.
