SRINAGAR: In Indian-administered Kashmir, a powerful explosion occurred at the Naugam police station compound in Srinagar, followed by a fire.
Indian media sources indicate that the blast was caused by the detonation of seized ammonium nitrate. So far, at least eight people have been reported injured in the incident.
Initial reports suggest extensive destruction within the police station, with several vehicles completely engulfed in flames and parts of the building severely damaged. Authorities have expressed concerns about potential casualties; however, no official statement has been issued yet.
