Lahore (May 13, 2018): Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal and Jamat-e-Islami leader Sirajul Haq said on Sunday that fair distribution of resources will bring prosperity to the nation.
While addressing the first public meeting of MMA at Minar-e-Pakistan, Sirajul Haq said, “We will bring direct tax system. A gatekeeper is giving the same amount of tax as a billionaire here.”

He said that American agents worried to see the unity of religious parties. He said that the Minar-e-Pakistan rally has given a message that the country wants to become ‘Islamic Pakistan’ rather than ‘Naya Pakistan.’
He asked, had thousands of Muslims laid down their lives for a secular Pakistan in 1947? The MMA leader said that unfortunately Islamic political system was not let implemented from last 70 years, adding that the party is fighting for the imposition of Islamic system in the country.
Siraj said that the corrupt rulers are storing looted wealth abroad, and the corrupt elite has bought properties worth billions of rupees.
“I curse on the politics which aims for increasing funds in bank accounts,” he said. ” I want to open the avenues of power to the common Pakistanis. We have to end the tradition of giving votes to the oppressors.” Siraj said that the corrupt people should not have space in any party.
