PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan has directed for the accelerated execution of Dasu hydel power generation project in the province.
He made the direction during co-chairing a meeting with federal minister Faisal Vowda at Chief Minister Secretariat, Peshawar.
Advisor to CM on Energy Hamayatullah Khan, Head of Strategic Support Unit Sahibzada Saeed, Energy and Power secretary, Peshawar Commissioner and other relevant officers attended the meeting.
Faisal Vowda said that the federal government was serious so solve the water scarcity issue in the country and was fully cooperating with provincial governments in this connection.
“A work to design comprehensive framework to cope with the dearth of water as government closely reviewing the construction of small dams along with big dams,” he mentioned.
