ISLAMABAD: In a bizarre development on Thursday it has been revealed that the Capital Police had bluffed the Prime Minister office and other authorities by circulating the news of the arrest of SHO Ghulam Abbas.
According to sources, the Capital Police had bluffed the Prime Minister and other authorities by circulating the news of the arrest of SHO Ghulam Abbas who is out on bail and is part of the inquiry team and was provided leverage by the department to get away with bail.
The sources have also claimed that the said police officer is part of the investigation team and was released on interim bail by a local court for surety bonds of Rs50,000. Ghulam Abbas is released on a bail till May 31.
On the other hand, the judicial inquiry of the ‘Farishta Murder Case’ has been started and the statements of the accused are being recorded. The commission has also recorded the statement of the SHO Ghulam Abbas and investigation officer who were accused of alleged negligence in the matter.
The statements of her parents will also be recorded by the judicial commission.
A report will be submitted in seven days to the higher officials.
