ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain on Thursday criticized Punjab Assembly decision to raise members of assembly salaries.
Expressing its reaction over Punjab government yesterday decision on social media microblogging site twitter, the Federal Minister for Information said that Chief Minister Punjab and Punjab assembly decision to receive benefits is contrary to Prime Minister Imran Khan and federal government austerity drive.
Seems Punjab Government and the CM House is in the dark about the PM and the federal Govt Austerity policies otherwise such sham exercise of awarding huge benefits to themselves would not have happened…

Fawad Chaudhry said that the PA mocked the PM and the federal government through its decision.
The minister said “Seems Punjab Government and the CM House is in the dark about the PM and the federal Govt Austerity policies otherwise such sham exercise of awarding huge benefits to themselves would not have happened.”
He expressing hope that the Punjab government will review its decision
