ISLAMABAD: Information Minister has asked the top PPP leadership to seek apology over the actions of its workers, who attacked the police force during the appearance of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and party’s Chairman Asif Ali Zardari before the National Accountability Bureau.
In a video message on Wednesday, he said the attack by about a dozen PPP workers injured four policemen and two cameramen.
“Despite PPP’s melee, the process of accountability being continued without any hurdle,” minister said adding that PPP’s workers’ conduct was against the law and he hoped PPP leadership will offer an apology over the incident.
He mentioned that the government wanted to solve the issue through dialogue, however, it did not meat to stop accountability and the accused would face cases.
He raised the question over the PPP’s today conduct and said that PPP wanted to prove why its leaders being called for an investigation while how its conduct different from the conduct of the banned outfit whom facing NAP.
