ISLAMABAD: After the meeting of the Federal Cabinet, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry along with Energy Minister Hamad Azhar while giving a media briefing said that PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz has given many dates for ouster the government and now her children are laughing at her words.
Fawad Chaudhry said that they want to sit with the opposition on two or three issues but the opposition does not want that. Consultation on the appointment of Chairman NAB and on judicial amendments is necessary, he added. The opposition thinks that the government will fall soon but it will not happen.
Fawad Chaudhry said that a briefing was given on the situation of Omicron in the cabinet meeting. School children are being affected more by the virus.
Federal Minister Hammad Azhar said that PML-N is playing politics on the issue of SBP. PML-N tried to attack SBP’s sovereignty in 2015 while PTI government protected its sovereignty. ۔
