PESHAWAR: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed his lack of knowledge regarding the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest on Sunday.
JUI Chief criticized the government for focusing on political maneuvering rather than addressing the critical issue of law and order.
Fazlur Rehman pointed out, “The government’s attention is on political theatrics, neglecting the essential task of maintaining peace and security. This is a serious mistake.”
He also expressed concerns over recent legislation, claiming that several bills being passed are unconstitutional and undermine fundamental rights, particularly referencing the 26th Constitutional Amendment.
“The government is more concerned with safeguarding its own interests than ensuring the protection of citizens,” Rehman remarked, highlighting the introduction of laws that he believes violate human rights.
Furthermore, JUI Chief expressed his deep concerns about the deteriorating security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, calling for urgent attention to the growing instability in the region
