Islamabad: Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Amjad Zubair Tiwana has decided to take retirement soon.
The FBR Chairman Amjad Zuabair Tiwana has written a letter to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. Whereas he has given two week time notice to relinquish his post.
Existing chairman FBR Amjad Zubair had to retire from his post in February 2025.
Sources said that the no senior officer of the FBR used to cooperate with the Chairman FBR.
The FBR has 21 officers senior from the present chairman Amjad Zubair.
He has been made the Chairman FBR in the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) government by then finance minister Ishaq Dar. He is stated to be closer to Ishaq Dar.
