Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued a notification of businessmen friendly special procedure 2024.
Under the scheme the registration of businessmen and shopkeeper will be started from April 1 while first collection of monthly advance income tax will be taken from July 15 this year.
According to the notification, after collection on July 15, the collection will be made on every 15th of months.
The businessman friendly special procedure will be applicable to small traders, whole sellers, retailers, businessmen and shopkeepers.
The scheme will be applicable to manufactures-cum- retailers and importer-cum-retailers.The registration of the scheme will be conducted in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Quetta.
As per the FBR, the least advance tax will be of Rs 1200 for businessmen and shopkeepers.
The registration can also be lodged at mobile app or web-portal of FBR
As per the notification registration can also be made on the FBR tax facilitation centers.
According to the FBR, the last day of registration will be 30th April.
