Rawalpindi (August 29, 2017): Security forces have arrested six suspected terrorists and recovered huge cache of arms during actions in Orakzai and Mohmand agencies under the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces arrested six terrorists from Mohmand and Orakzai agencies during actions. The forces also recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition from the arrested terrorists.
It said that the forces while reacting on a tip-off about presence of terrorists took action in Halqa Palandra in Mohmand Agency.
The forces recovered huge caches of arms, ammunition including IEDs, rockets, hang grenades, detonators. Communication gadgets were also recovered during the raid.
However, no arrest was made in the action.
ISPR added that the second action was taken in Orakzai Agency where FC arrested six suspected terrorists in a raid on tip-off.
The FC recovered rockers, mortar shells and other arms from the terrorists.
