Feb 8 elections will decide fortune of country: Shahbaz Sharif

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and ex-premier Shahbaz Sharif has said that his first, second and third preference will be youth if we get government in the elections.

Meeting with senior journalist in Model Town Lahore residence, former premier clear some points of his party manifesto.

Former chief minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif said that Nawaz Sharif didn’t snatch bat symbol from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He said that the PTI could not satisfy the Supreme Court (SC).

Shahbaz Sharif said that we are not the apple of eyes it was someone else. He said that this election will decide country fortune.

He claimed that Nawaz Sharif government was packed up back in 2017 through stooge of former chief justice Saqib Nisar.

Nawaz Sharif was also deprived off contesting elections in 2002, 2008 and 2018, the PML-N president said.

He said that saving Pakistan from default and restoration of diplomatic relations credit not go to him instead whole of the coalition government has a credit in it.

He furthered that the PTI introduced the use of superficial language in politics adding we all committed mistakes and we should learn from the mistakes.

Nawaz Sharif will take a decision regarding next chief minister of Punjab with consultation, he adds.
