ISLAMABAD: The federal budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2025-2026 will be presented on June 10th in the National Assembly.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance confirmed that the federal budget will be presented on June 10th, while the Economic Survey will be released on June 9th. Previously, the date for presenting the federal budget was set for June 2nd.
Meanwhile, sources indicate that today was the last day of negotiations with the IMF, but no agreement was reached on the budget targets with the IMF.
Sources also stated that negotiations with the IMF regarding the budget will continue into the next week.
