Islamabad: Federal cabinet on Thursday approved a finance bill 2025-2026.
The Federal cabinet meeting in the chair of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reviewed the finance bill, overall economic conditions and law and order situation of the country.
All the cabinet members were taken into the confidence over the decisions of the National Security Committee (NSC) which meeting was held two days earlier.
On the other hand, the cabinet also endorsed the decisions of the National Security Committee (NSC).
Later on, the finance bill was presented before the cabinet while Federal Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb briefed the federal cabinet over the bill.
The amendments conducted in the budget were sought approval from the cabinet and it approved the budget amendements.
Prime Minister directed all the cabinet members to ensure their presence in the National Assembly at the passage of the budget.
