Islamabad: A meeting of federal cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is in progress in Islamabad.
The federal cabinet meeting will deliberate upon banning the the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Consultations will also be conducted in the cabinet meeting to impose article 6 on the PTI founding chairman Imran Khan, former president Dr Arif Alvi and former deputy speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri.
