ISLAMABAD: The federal government took a major decision on the report of the Cabinet Committee on Petrol Crisis.
According to sources, criminal proceedings have been approved against the Petroleum Division, OGRA officials, board officers and oil marketing companies. Besides, it has also been directed to set up a monitoring cell in the Petroleum Division.
Sources said that the reliance on the data of the advisory committee has been removed and a new testing lab has been set up. The federal government has also directed action on issuing interim licenses to oil marketing companies
