Islamabad (February 20, 2018): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has summoned the meeting of the federal cabinet on Tuesday which would discuss a 10-point agenda including  the internal security and economic progress.

As per details, the federal cabinet would review the situation of security and economic progress while MOUs signed from different countries and other national issues would likely get assent from the meeting.

The meeting would also review the efforts taken in order to curb terrorism from the country along with establishment and implementation on financial terrorism force.It is pertinent to mention here that the federal cabinet in its 13 February meeting approved anti-terrorism bill 2018.

The cabinet also approved the signing of a draft MoU between the Department of Archeology and Museums National Museum Rietberg, Zurich Switzerland with its counterpart in Pakistan. Ratification of the decisions taken by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) in its meeting held on December 22, 2017, was also accorded.

The cabinet also approved the appointment of the member of National Industrial Relations Commission (NIRC) submitted by Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, besides giving permission for the appointment of the Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director Inter-State Gas System Company Limited (ISGSL).

It approved placing of annual report of the National Economic Council (NEC) for the year 2016-17 before both parliament as required by Article 156(5) of the Constitution, as well.
