Islamabad (December 10, 2017): The federal government has decided to construct a dam in Bara Area of Khyber Agency.
According to report published in Radio Pakistan, Manager Planning and Development, FATA Development Authority Ghousur Rehman said feasibility study of the dam has been completed.
The dam will be completed at a cost of five billion rupees.
On completion, the dam will provide clean drinking water to more than one million people of the area besides saving Jamrud, Hayatabad and University Town areas of Peshawar from torrential floods.
