Islamabad (March 01, 2018): The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has announced to appoint 3850 employees under the restructuring umbrella. Plan has submitted in this connection on Thursday.
Abbtakk News has acquired the plan was prepared on the directives of the interior minister Ahsan Iqbal.
According to documents, out of 3850 appointments, 209 officials of grade 17 to 21 will be appointed. The FIA restructuring will burden on the national exchequer of Rs two billion and 370 million per annum.
According to plan, offices of FIA directorate will be set up in Multan, Hyderabad and Gilgit. Documents stated that since 1984 the registration of cases has been jumped up to 51 percent, while immigration has witnessed huge increased of 403 percent.
The negligence and lack of resources have badly affected the performance of the institution, the document said.
According to sources, present PML-N government has only 90 days, however it is feared that the motive behind the restructuring plan to awards employment to N-League and other allied partners to get their favour in next general elections.
