FIA summons Shandana Gulzar over allegations against state.

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Circle in Lahore has summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader Shandana Gulzar over allegation against state.

The Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) has filed complaint in the FIA over allegations levelled by the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) lawmaker over Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz.

Punjab’s Information Minister Uzma Bukhari has said that Shandana Gulzar should provide evidence of her allegations. “We will not allow her to flee,” Bukhari said.

Meanwhile, another PTI leader and MNA Sher Afzal Marwat in a press conference outside the National Assembly claimed, “We have telephone recording”. “Maryam Nawaz’s name has surfaced. We will share this recording with investigators,” Marwat told the media on question

Earlier, Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari had also commented on the case, saying taking care of the sanctity of the assembly was the duty of every member. “Shandana Gulzar is insulting Pakistan. These are the actions of PTI’s political vultures,” she remarked while talking to the media.

She stressed that the PTI had always done politics on dead bodies, and demanded the PTI “vultures” stop these actions. She also demanded evidence of Shandana’s allegations against Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. “An application for registration of an FIR against Shandana Gulzar has been submitted. Now, neither a woman card nor political card will be allowed to be used,” she explained
