Field Marshal reaffirms commitment to Balochistan’s development through unified approach

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has reiterated that meaningful progress in Balochistan depends on coordinated efforts between civil and military institutions. 

During his recent visit to Turbat, he reviewed the region’s security environment and evaluated the status of various development initiatives focused on uplifting southern Balochistan.

Field Marshal Munir, in his dialogue with the provincial leadership, highlighted the significance of transparent governance, infrastructure expansion, and equitable development that prioritizes local communities. He stressed that sustainable solutions to Balochistan’s challenges lie in harmonized civil-military coordination and placing the people’s needs at the forefront of all policy decisions.

He emphasized that addressing the province’s longstanding issues requires not only security operations but also a long-term commitment to inclusive and people-oriented growth strategies.
