FIFA WC 2018: Last Two Quarter Finals Scheduled Today

Moscow (July 07, 2018): First two quarter final matches of FIFA world cup 2018 played yesterday, has qualified France and Belgium for the first semi-finals. Last round of quarter final matches will be played today between Sweden-England and Russia-Croatia.

Third and fourth quarter finals will be played today.

In the third match of this round, Sweden will be playing against England. This match will be played at Samara Arena, and will start at 7:00 pm PST.Despite scoring fewer goals, Sweden have had more shots on goal then England at this tournament. They have attempted 18 shots, one more than England. While English striker,  Harry Kane is the top scorer at Russia 2018 so far with six goals.

In the last fight of quarter finals, Russia will play against Croatia at Fisht Stadium. This match will start at 11:00 pm PST.Russia were runners-up in Group A, beating Saudi Arabia and Egypt but then losing to Uruguay.Croatia topped Group D with three wins out of three, including a 3-0 humbling of Lionel Messi’s Argentina.

Yesterday, France reached the World Cup semi-finals with a deserved win over Uruguay in Nizhny Novgorod, while, Belgium ended Brazil’s dream of a sixth World Cup title when they beat the South Americans 2-1 in a dramatic quarter-final to earn a semi-final tie against France.
