Moscow (July 06, 2018): Quarter finals of FIFA world cup 2018 are starting today. Four winners of these matches will proceed to the next round of semi finals. Two matches between Uruguay-France and Brazil-Belgium will be played today.
First match will be played between Uruguay and France at Nizhny Novgorod Stadium. Match is scheduled to be played at 7:00 pm PST on Friday.
Both teams finished top of their opening round group in Russia with Uruguay winning all three games in Group A and France finishing with seven points in Group C. Both also had narrow wins in the second round as France beat Argentina and Uruguay edged out Portugal
Second encounter will be on the same day, between Brazil and Belgium, at Kazan Arena. This match is scheduled to start at 11:00 pm PST.
Brazil are unbeaten at the tournament. They started with a draw against Switzerland, and then beat Costa Rica, Serbia and Mexico. Belgium have won all of their matches in Russia, beating Panama, Tunisia, England and Japan.
