FIFA WC 2018: Pre-Quarter Finalist Decision Today

Moscow (June 27, 2018): Last round of group matches between teams of group E and F will be played today in FIFA World Cup. Mexico-Sweden and Germany-South Korea will be competing with each other from group F at 7:00 pm PST. In group E, Switzerland-Costa Rica and Brazil-Serbia will be opposing at 11:00 pm PST.

Germany and South Korea will be playing their last group match in Kazan Arena. Germany will qualify if they win by two or more goals. If Germany and Sweden draw, then the team in the higher-scoring game will finish second. If both draws are with the same score, Germany finish second due to their head-to-head win over Sweden.This encounter between Mexico and Sweden will happen at Ekaterinburg Stadium. Mexico only need a draw against Sweden to seal their qualification for the round of 16. Mexico could potentially be eliminated if they were to lose to Sweden and Germany were to beat South Korea, based on either goal difference.In Spartak Stadium, Brazil be playing against Serbia. A win or draw for Brazil will guarantee their progress into the qualifying stages. Serbia will qualify if they beat Brazil, but a draw could see them through if the Swiss are beaten by Costa Rica by more than one goal. Switzerland and Costa Rica of group E, will be playing their last match in Nizhny Novgorod Stadium. Costa Rica are already eliminated. A draw will take Switzerland through, whatever the result of the match between Brazil and Serbia is. Switzerland will go through with a defeat if Serbia lose to Brazil.Pre-quarter finalist teams from group A, B, C and D have already been qualified. Russia and Uruguay from group A, Portugal and Spain from group B, Denmark and France from group C, Croatia and Argentina from group D are those qualified.

Pre-quarter finals of FIFA World Cup 2018 will start from 30th June and first match will be played between Uruguay and Spain.
