FIFA WC 2018:Schedule Of Today’s Matches

Web desk(June 20, 2018): In FIFA World Cup, Japan beats Colombia by 2-1 while Senegal defeated Poland by 2-1 in Spartak stadium. In the last match of yesternight, Russia took over Egypt with 3-1. Three matches are scheduled to be played today.The first match today in FIFA world cup will be played be between teams of group B. Portugal and Morocco will be opposing today, at 5 pm PST.

The second encounter of today will be seen between teams of group A. Uruguay and Saudi Arabia will be challenging each other at Rostov Arena and match is scheduled to start at 8 pm PST.The third pair of challengers will be from group B as well, Iran and Spain will be competing each other at 11 pm PST.Yesterday, Japan wore down a Colombia team reduced to 10 men and won a frantic World Cup match by 2-1.

James Rodriguez, Colombia’s star, who is nursing a leg injury, came on in the second half but could not find a goal to save his team.Japan is in its sixth straight World Cup but has advanced to the round of 16 only twice  on home soil in 2002 and again in 2010, but promptly went right out.

After crushing Saudi Arabia 5-0 in the opener, Russia beats Egypt by 3-1 on Tuesday to put themselves on the brink of qualifying for the round of 16.

Russia didn’t score until the second half but had three goals in 16 minutes to put the Pharaohs away.
