Islamabad: Federal Minister for finance Muhammad Aurangzaib will depart for his a one week visit to America.
The aim of the Finance Minister visit is to attend the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) spring meeting.
Muhammad Aurangzaib will call on Managing Director of the IMF Kristalina Georgieva and junior level of the US officials.
He will also meet the USA deputy minister David Lu, Deputy secretary finance.
The finance minister leading a delegation of Pakistan in the visit to the USA which includes Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Secretary Finance Imdad Ullah Bosal, Secretary economic affairs Dr Kazim Niyaz.
The Finance Minister will visit the USA from April 13 to 21.
Sources said that Pakistan will request the IMF to send its mission for extended fund facility.
