Islamabad Federal Ministry of finance has started preparation for budget for fiscal year 2024 to 2025.
Sources said that the preferential committee meetings for determination of the development budget for next year have started which will continue till March 30 under the chair of a special secretary of finance ministry.
The meetings will estimate federation current and development budget while the the committee will also review the federal ministries current and development budget whereas it will also review need of grants and subsidy for the next fiscal year.
Sources said that the committee will prepare the budget estimation and salaries and other expenditures of the federal ministries and institutions.
The committee also prepares recommendation under the government preferences for allocation of the development budget, sources added.
