Islamabad: The finance ministry has sent six names for the post of Governor State Bank Of Pakistan (SBP) to the prime minister secretariat.
The names suggested for the Governor SBP include former president National Bank Of Pakistan (NBP) Dr Saeed Ahmed, Asim Mairaj Hussain, Managing Director Punjab Bank Zafar Masood.
The other names in the list are Deputy Governor State Bank Muhammad Jameel, former governor SBP Muhammad Ashraf Khan and acting Governor SBP Dr Murtaza Syed as well.
Sources said that the cabinet meeting called on Tuesday tomorrow will approve one name out of six.
